mOcean named PromaxBDA North American Agency of the Year


LA-based creative marketing agency mOcean was named the 2015 “North American Agency of the Year” at the annual PromaxBDA Promotion, Marketing and Design competition Thursday evening in downtown Los Angeles.
Agency CEO Craig Murray and President Michael McIntyre credit a recent re-envisioning of the company’s creative mission, along with the continued opportunity to work with a roster of forward-thinking clients, as the keys to creating the kind of campaigns that led to mOcean winning this award.

“mOcean has a deep history of creating breakthrough campaigns for motion picture advertising,” they said in a statement, citing the agency’s launch in 2000 as a motion picture trailer and graphic design house. “Executive Creative Director Greg Harrison and his talented team draw on our trailer-making DNA to uniquely influence how we approach and solve each network marketing challenge. As a result, we’ve been able to collaborate with some very innovative clients and spread our creative wings further than ever before.”

In addition to mOcean’s numerous broadcast industry successes, the agency has been extensively involved in the theatrical campaigns launching such Disney/Marvel tentpole franchises as Avengers, Captain America and Guardians of the Galaxy. mOcean’s staff includes over 140 editors, producers, writers, animators, graphic designers and support personnel in its West LA and Burbank offices.
