Glimpse Into Living With A Disease

Condé Nast asked for MOCEAN’s help expressing the stories of two women navigating the challenges and growth of living with MS. We were thrilled to help bring to life the experiences of two dynamic and strong women and their ability to thrive in the face of their condition.

Inspired by the their experiences told in their own words, we developed illustrated animations to convey the evolution of our heroines’ relationship to their condition before, during, and after diagnosis. To do justice to their narrative, we worked to convey the seriousness of the topic, but relate how full and inspirational their lives continue to be.

The color story begins with a muted palette expressing the hard times of early stages in the diagnosis. As the stories continue, we evolve to a more joyful color palette relating their ability to overcome challenges and tell an aspirational life story.

By the end, we’re able to see their vibrant lives and a full journey to thriving in the face of a difficult diagnosis.
