PlayStation’s accessories often take a backseat to the system and controllers, with most attention focused on game marketing. But instead of letting players turn to competitors who regularly spotlight accessories, we wanted to remind our loyal fans that there's even more to love about the PlayStation experience.
The Ask
How do we show two key PlayStation peripheral products as must-haves for gamers of all levels?
It’s easy for certain products to get overshadowed in PlayStation's portfolio, but the focus was to put a spotlight on them in a way that was more than just hitting people over the head with tech specs.
The Idea
Create a story about seamless use with the help of a few friends.
The easiest way for someone to get a good understanding of what these products are capable of is to see them used in real scenarios. By leveraging a little star power and the hottest PlayStation IP at the time, we wanted to tell a story that felt like everyone could experience.
